What You Need to Know

You’ll earn Philam Vitality Points in the fitness category if you exercise at a specific intensity,
for a specific time.

Earn up to 100 Philam Vitality Points each day

for workouts tracked using Polar.

You can earn up to 15,000 Philam Vitality Points for all fitness-related activities (including gym workouts, fitness device tracking and organized fitness events). Once you have linked your device
to Philam Vitality, points take up to 2 weeks to show on your Philam Vitality Points Statement.

The table below shows the number of points you earn when you track your exercise at the required heart rate with Polar. If your heart rate data is not available, we will award you points based on how much energy you use when you exercise i.e. your calorie information, or your average exercise speed.

You may earn points if we have suggested a personal Health Goal within this range.

A maximum of 100 points will be awarded for one download a day. If you complete two fitness activities in one day, then the higher points between the two will be awarded.

Example: John buys a fitness device that can be linked to Philam Vitality. His device collects step and calorie data. John takes part in a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity in one exercise session. He exercises at an average heart rate of more than 60% of his age-related maximum heart rate, burns a minimum of 150 calories (at a rate of no fewer than 300 calories an hour) and takes 7,500 steps. He uploads his exercise data to Philam Vitality. This event qualifies for 50 points.

On the same day John has also completed a marathon and submitted the information of the organized fitness event to Philam Vitality. This event qualifies for 1,500 points.

John will earn 1,500 points for the day for the marathon i.e. the higher of the 2 above events.
